Guided Strategic Planning

Facilitated planning that ends in choices.

Our facilitators take your leadership team from an objective to a set of explicit, tested choices. The frameworks, the sequence and the depth are fitted to what you need to decide.

Most plans fail before the first slide.

We designed our engagements around the three ways strategic planning usually goes wrong.

They start from a template

The same forty-slide structure, whatever the question. We start from what you need to decide and run only the analyses that produce it.

They rest on untested inputs

A diagnosis built on nobody's data is a list of opinions. We score every answer and go back before anything downstream depends on it.

They end as a document

A description of the company instead of a decision. Our deliverable is a set of choices with owners, metrics and the assumptions behind them.

How an engagement works.

Four stages, one standard: nothing moves forward on a weak input.

See a Sample Plan
  1. Onboarding

Before the first session we absorb what you already have: products, pricing, customers, organization, systems and financials. Your team is never asked twice for something that already exists.

  2. From objective to plan

We agree in plain language what the plan has to contain. The method derives which frameworks produce it and in what order, and you approve that map before a single session is spent.

  3. Working sessions

Each framework breaks into specific questions for your team. Every answer is scored for quality, weak ones are flagged on the spot, and we go back before building on them.

  4. Integration

Everything consolidates into one plan: the choices, the reasoning behind them, the metrics that prove them, and who owns what.

What you get.

A plan your team can execute and argue with.

The number of sessions is set by the plan, not by a package. Depending on the objective and the depth you choose, the sample plans in our Plan Explorer run between 5 and 15 working sessions.

  • What winning means for your company, stated so it can be tested.
  • Where you will play and where you will not: markets, segments and channels.
  • How you will win there, and the capabilities it requires.
  • Measurable objectives with the assumptions behind every target made explicit.
  • A record of every input and its quality score, so you know what the plan rests on.

Built on a method, not on a mood.

Every framework we run declares what it needs and what it produces. That is what lets us derive a plan from your objective instead of improvising one, and it is why we can tell you, at any point, which parts of your plan are solid and which are still a bet.
